WHAT WE OFFER The UNIC FUNERAL PLAN is a policy that provides for burial expenses to cover self, spouse and parents from having a whole in their pockets when bereaved. Cover will still continue for all named beneficiaries after the death of the sponsoring policyholder, provided there were no outstanding premiums due at date of death.

YOUR BENEFITS

• Maximum age for Policyholder is set at 65 and Parents is set at 75.
• Policyholder can choose the Sum Assured based on ones financial standings
• Premium can be paid monthly, annually or by a single lump sum
• Policy is written on a non-medical basis
• The policy attracts an escalation rate of 5% per annum
• Tax Relief on all premiums paid for income tax purposes.
• Required duration based on agreement and tenure of credit facilities

KEY ATTRACTION

• The Sum Assured becomes payable in the event of death.

WAITING PERIOD

• There is a 6 months waiting period to claim benefits.

CASHING OUT

• A notice of claim must be written to the Company
• Documentary Evidence (Death Claim)

4. Police Report (if death is by accident)

• In case of Critical Illness, doctor report diagnosing a named Critical Illness
• Policy Document
• Prompt payment of all claims within 72 hours of completing
