Critical Rescue International (CRI) – a wholly owned subsidiary of UNIC INSURANCE PLC. provides the local  infrastructure to service UNICHEALTH through its national network of CRI Ambulances and Mediclinics and the accredited Third Party Clinic and Hospital facilities.

Using the pooling concept of insurance, Unichealth offers the local market access to affordable first-class healthcare service through its health insurance plans marketed under the Unicare brand name.

The Unicare health insurance plans provide an improved healthcare option to the obvious alternatives of self-insurance and medical aid plans offered by Health Maintenance organizations.
The CRI Mediclinics can also be accessed directly on a fee for service or by retainership.

Unichealth is in partnership with BUPA International (the World’s Premier International Health Insurer) and AXA (The French Insurance and Investment Group) as the sole intermediary in Nigeria for the sale of BUPA International Medical Insurance Plans and AXA’s Travel Medical Insurance plans offered under the Unichealth. Nigerian nationals and Expatriates working in Nigeria can access these International covers through UNICHEALTH.
